ARTIST’S STATEMENT  2005       I love the art that I see in museums and I equally love contemporary art; it’s all a part of a huge body of work - of human history done visually - which I can draw on and “skew” to reflect my life and its relationship to the world and to world events.      The paintings are done with oil paint and charcoal in a technique that combines painting and drawing.
